I always run Hextor and Heironeous as the same guy in my campaigns. Not as some split personality, just as a Lawful war god who sees use in having both cutthroats and heros as his disposal. My deiti ... |

Pardon my ignorance, but I get the impression from some posts that Caldron from Shackled City has some canonical placement in Oerth. Did I get that right, and if so, where is it? I used the city (bu ... |

In my Greyhawk, I refer to all dark, subterrainean elves as drow, but not all worship Lolth, and not all are evil (though that's the way to bet). I tend to have most humanoid races in my campaign be ... |

I remember reading something written by or paraphrased from EGG, in which he mentioned that Igwilv was active on many worlds and that on our world she is known as Louhi (of Kalevala fame). Among othe ... |

This is exactly how I ran it, but I added a large St. Cuthbert reference. IMC, Cauldron was indeed Joramy's holy volcano. When he walked Oerth, St. Cuthbert happened by this area, and found the peop ... |

In my very non-canon Greyhawk, Hextor and Hieroneous are actually the same guy (he's working both angles). I never though much about parentage because most real-world mythogies I have read have all s ... |

I think the easiest solution is that the sword is only indirectly named after the baklunish hero...
I agree in general, but that last bit is quite easy to explain. He didn't kill the dragon. |

To borrow from MST3K:
Party member: What?!? Your special items decay in sunlight? Thats unfair, and bad for game balance.
Drow: What did you expect? WE'RE EVIL! |

I do use Nyambe for Hepmonoland. I had to squish it just a bit in shape, and its much bigger than Hepmonoland, but I like it a lot better. Basically, I replaced the Egyption-ish influence with Olman ... |
