Is OJ 15 available? I thought I saw links to it somewhere, btu I couldn't find them through the Oerth Journal link on the front page or in the downloads section.

Also, any word on the next OJ?

Presently the editors are engaging the final proofread of the PDF and our art director/layout man is working on the cover art and programming the table of contents.

    More as we get it!

    Hi Folks,
I'm sorry that we've been keeping all of you waiting, but it doesn't look like we will be able to get it out till mid December. We're a little short staffed and most of the group is tied up with academic responsiblities(Grad School). This issue does ook to be one of our better issues. I think everyone will be quite happy when they see it(soon).

    Hi Herald.

The semester just ended, so the OJ staff will recommence work and are looking to publish issue fifteen in the next two weeks. Only a couple last things are required: a cover, a table of contents, one art design/layout change, a final read.

We're real close, finally. Unless something catastrophic happens, you will read OJ 15 while you sip mimosas and eat clam chowder, i.e by New Years Day.

Just finished your mimosas? Let me pour you a bloody mary... ;)

We're on it. You may have missed the lil bit I placed in the Canonfire Crier (on the Home page), but we're on the final line-edit. ToC is complete, illustrations are all in (but some getting moved to be properly placed), and the cover looks great.

Still, we had to give it the final-over because once it's released there won't be further opportunity to catch "drudic" where it should say "druidic" -- and all the other little details.

I know you've all waited far longer than you should have to, but ultimately the final product should attain the high production values we have established.

OJ 15 to be released imminently!!!

Visitors to Canonfire.com in recent weeks heard rumors that the Silent Tower was breached.

While the Cenotaph remains inviolate, today Lashton of Grayhill revealed to his fellow Seekers a copy of the elusive XVth manuscript of the Oerth Journal.

I will post again when it is available for download...

    Oerth Journal 15
    January 12, 2004

A Scribe's Chronicle: Lichen on the Stone, Ivy Bursting Through by Marc Tizoc Gonzalez

Of Oerth & Altar - Norebo: the Daredevil by Paul M. Rokuskie

Jachyras returns in this popular column to detail the exploits of the Suel god of luck. Paramour of Wee Jas, thief of fortune, Norebo is well known throughout the Flanaess. Included is a new prestige class for his most devout worshippers.

Folklore of the Vesve Forest by Andy Seale

Fallon, the Ranger-Sage of Vesve, returns to share lessons from his childhood beneath the whispering eaves of Great Vesve. Adventurers pay heed! Vesve holds many secrets; listening to its folklore may help uncover its riches.

The Nature of Druids in the Flanaess: the Old Faith by Paul Stormberg

Deeply researched, this article discusses the evolution of the druid class over the changing editions of the game and details the hierarchy of the Old Faith in the Flanaess. The nine territorial orders are described and accompanied by brief sketches of the nine Archdruids. Samples maps of certain groves and illustrations of the orders' symbols complete the piece.

By Sword and Song: Notes on the Old Faith Bards of the Flanaess by Paul Stormberg

Recapitulating the history of the bard class over the various editions of Dungeons & Dragons, this article presents a new prestige class to create characters that accord with the Old Lore of the Flanaess. The nine bardic colleges are described, including their druidic deans, bardic instructors, and their mystical sites. Also presented are the legendary Instruments of the Bards.

I don't think it's just you gang. I tried the link for OJ 15 out of curiosity and I'm getting a page not found error.

    If only!

    Hi all,

I was looking at the Oerth Journals today and...as much as I love seeing my name in print, I caught the glaring error of me being credited with Andrew Seale's article on the cover at http://www.oerthjournal.com/oj15.html . I doubt anyone has the free time to go back and redo the whole cover image, but maybe someone could add an html correction at the bottom of the screen?
