oh wow, that was whew .... I started working in Law Enforcment in 1993, and it was before that at Dragon Con, I honestly do not remember when the year was, I know I had 2 large pictures that I bought aurographed by Larry Elmore, which are both hanging on the wall in my gaming room. HUGE HUGE honor that was.
As for the adventure he DMed us through, it was a prefabbed mini adventure where we had to explore the tunnels that were found north of Homlet. Ended up being a sect of minions of Iuz. Very fun adventure, lasted 3 hours and we were judged on points to see who took top prize, I didnt win hehe placed 3rd I think.
Long time ago that was, details are very sketchy. I got him to autograph an original Rogues Gallery with the original Circle of Eight in it. It was the old one that was still black and white, got his autograph then when I got back home I had it vacuum sealed.
ahh the memories. I have been such a HUGE fan of Greyhawk ever since it was released, I enjoy the Dragonlance novels more over all but nothing touches the Oerth campaign setting by a long shot.
