Missing stats from Keep on the Borderlands

I know this is only barely on topic, but whatever. 8) I was rereading B2 tonight, in preparation for running a one-shot summer campaign with it, when I noticed something... in the private apartments in 7b, there are no stats given for the (evil) cleric, only for the acolytes. Was there ever errata released for this, or do most people just make it up? If anyone has the missing stats, shoot me a line, please and thanks.

"He has plate mail +1 and a shield +1, (AC -1) and a mace +1, and has a Dexterity of 15(thus the low AC). He also has a magic cleric scroll with a hold person and a silence, 15’ radius spell on it. He appears very robust (18 hit points), as do his assistants."

Those are the Priest's(3rd level) stats. They sort of flow into the stats for the Acolytes so they don't stand out as being separate very well. Continuing directly from that excerpt is the following:

"The latter wear chain mail, carry shields and have maces. (AC 4, C I, hp 7 each, #AT 1, D 1-6, ML 7.)"

Those are the Acolyte(1st level) stats. They are robust with Con 13-15 accounting for the extra hit point.

Overall it's a very bare bones entry and you will need to extrapolate a few things from the stats that are given and fill in the blanks where you can't.

That's what I'm thinking. Don't worry about not having stats and just roll as if there are no bonuses or no penalties.

Okay... I just found it odd that most of the other NPC's are fleshed out like the acolytes in that room are, but the priest wasn't. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something important. 8)

I think EGG intentionally wanted it that way so that you could fill in your own stats for your own game. This in direct contradiction to later editions where they've felt the need to stat out everything.

Those were also very hectic days; trying to get everything done with such a little amount of time. Some things could simply have been overlooked. I think we've all been guilty of that in our lifetimes. Embarassed
