What would the Greyhawk logo look like for real.

I have always wanted to see the Greyhawk logo for real. We have all seen the our campaign worlds logo so many times but yet we haven't seen what it would look like in reality.

I decided to do something about it and below is a first try

Here you can download it in full resolution in case you want to take a closer look.

    Nice!

That's nothing short of fantastic. I love the textures and the grit. Great job! Happy

Very nice, Anna, but then no more than what I've come to expect of you. Wink

Thank you all for your great comments :)

So you want to know how I did it, normally a master craftsman doesn't reveal how it's done but I'll show you a couple of glimpses ;)

The idea came up when I found these stone hiking in the hills.

Notice the special glow they leave on the floor.

So I searched around in the area and found the perfect stone wall to start carving the logo and here is the result halfway through:

Now I'm going to update my regular thread.

    Realistic Greyhawk Logo

    WoW!!!!
Anna ... this *instantly* became my desktop!! Honestly, I love the one that has colours true to the original logo, but I was completely enrapt by the one that looks more like natural stone. I love the real golden clolours of the moss-ish stuff.

I had them both open in my browser, and I was clicking back and forth between two tabs. They're exactly the same size, and when I click, the images are nearly superimposed over each other. I can switch back and forth rapidly, and see all of the minute details that change in each one!

As said above - and I cannot say this vehemently enough, Anna - nothing short of amazing. Stunning work. ... simply stunning.

    Anna,
You what a true artist does you drew upon inspiration and let it flow from your hands onto your tapestry. The first one is good but the latest picture seems like you found a hidden cache of Greyhawk lore.

To Anna the thunderer of Greyhawk logos.
