This news doesn't seem to have gotten much attention from the community, so I thought I should repost in a higher traffic forum (thanks for the tip, Lanthorn).

It is worth noting that the slave lords compilation will also include A0 "Danger at Darkshelf Quarry."

Would love to see T1-4 reprinted as well. I have a dream of the original Folio or Boxed Set reprinted with a third booklet of Gary's articles from Dragon.

You are very welcome, TwiceBorn. I am still on the learning curve for what to post where, in spite of my numerous posts (close to a thousand now). Wink

My poor 2e copy of PHB is more spectral than corporeal with each and every passing year, so a renewed version would be necessary, methinks.

Unfortunately I think that's unlikely, since WotC doesn't own the rights to the recent run EGG and RJK Dragon articles (Gail and Rob do, respectively)---although WotC might own the earlier ones from the Dragons in the 50s and 60s, come to think of it....

I was thinking of the early articles from that run. The later ones would be in question as to their ownership. Of course one thing that would be cool is if WOTC compiled all the GH material from Dragon/Dungeon for release along with the Living Greyhawk material.

I know it's a pipe dream but it is mine. Cool

Well, that is enough face time now. Off this thread goes to where it should have been posted, that being the Published Material Reviews & Discussion forum. Wink

Just wondering if anyone knows an update on this rumor...are the 2e corebooks going to be reprinted, or not?

According to Amazon, the books should be released May 21, 2013: http://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_10?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=advanced+dungeons+and+dragons+2nd+edition&sprefix=advanced+d%2Caps%2C230
