How often are there divine changes in GH canon?

I've been toying with the idea that in my campaign there should be more changes in the relationships between gods, in their statuses and in other things that pertain to deities and divine creatures. There would be new gods and dead deads etc.

    Some examples:
    1. Heironeous proposes to Hanali Cenali, but she wants to consider it carefully before making a decision.
    2. Following an epic quest by his followers, Nazarn would be promoted to demigod status.
    3. Trithereon sponsors a new deity who used to be a mortal. This new deity rerepresents all good creatures from evil races.
    4. Murlynd disappears and his priest are suddenly unable to grant spells.

Since I like canon and I'd like to have a campaign that is loyal to the spirit of the world, I'd like to know that how often there are significant changes in the Oerth. I have tried searching for this information but I haven't been able figure out the rate at which things changes at the divine level.

For major change I was thinking the Twin Cataclysms and the ramifications for the Suloise deities. So about once a millennium.

Lesser changes, such as you listed, and also perhaps the appearance of a new deity, etc., however seem to happen a bit more than once a century - perhaps once a decade or so. (especially the ascension of demigods, quasi-deities and hero-deities).

I look at major changes as millennial or longer. Before the Twin Cataclysms, we had almost no major changes accept the slow rise and fall of the various deities, so just because a change happened a thousand years ago, does not make the Flanaess "due". Rather, I look at it as a world where the gods slowly gain or lose power, but outside of continent-to-planetary wide events, there are no sudden changes. That does not mean that new gods are not created or old ones do not fade away, just none of that soap-opera FR stuff.

The rise of Iuz, is to the gods, a minor event (though major for the Flanaess). In fact, even the Twin Cataclysms might be considered a collection of minor events (loss of power by Suel Pantheon) that just happened simultaneously.

The gods in my Flanaess are like Crom... uncaring on their mountain(s),

Considering the number of divine events over the last twenty years, the correct answer seems to be "once every adventure path/supermodule."

Greyhawk Adventures hardbound p4. One of the odder authorities on deities.
