    Baltrons Beacon Question

Can anyone tell me why this 2E Ad&D adventure is now considered Greyhawk?

It appears on the Dungeon SW Map.

As far as I know, this is a generic AD&D adventue, not Greyhawk.

    Anybody know?

Baltrons Beacon is converted to Greyhawk and detailed in Dragon issue 302, in a Living Greyhawk Journal Mysterious Places article by Gary Holian.

Actually, I think it's first edition, but I remember it being a well-written module, having cool traps, etc... If it's Greyhawk, it's a welcome addition.

IIRC beack when Greyhawk was "Dead" to TSR, the people keeping greyhawk alive on-line decided to make several modules of the I series into greyhawk modules.. after greyhawk had it's semi resurection some of the people who where keeping it alive were helping get GH back into print... (A trend which continues to this day with Erik etc.) it is not surprising that some of thier ideas spill into printed material sometimes... you will notice that Keoland also includes the county of Eor now days (from I2 Tomb of the Lizard King).
