    Barony of the Five

I was googling and found a piece of Paizo's Greyhawk map with the "Barony of the Five" marked on it.

The area includes Maure Castle and Pontyrel, with five other locations marked upon it. This is new to me.

Does anyone know if this is just some "home game" map, or some obscure piece of information I've never come across before? I can't find anything on it, myself.

After some searching, it seems that the map you mention comes from this thread on ENWorld, a 3.5e game set in CY 963. In that game, set 375 years in the future of the canon Flanaess, the Duchy of Urnst has ceded some lands to the independent Barony of the Five, which also includes lands that are part of the Domain of Greyhawk in 585 CY.

In other words: yes, it's a "home game."

The actual Paizo map doesn't have the names of provinces in the Duchy of Urnst.

Anna's map of the Duchy of Urnst has Maure Castle in a province called Altenmaure and Pontyrel in a province called Sculdan.

The Living Greyhawk Gazetteer says that the Duchy of Urnst is divided into fifteen "low counties" and four "wild marches." The low counties are subdivided into various baronies and townships. The low counties and wild marches are labeled on Anna's map; the baronies are not.

Thanks for that, Rasgon. I thought as much, but I am unfamiliar with En-world and don't visit the site.

    Much appreciated.
