Dragon #241, "Legacies of the Suel Imperium," page 42: "Derro PCs know their own racial language, called Derrosh (a language with ancient Suloise and Dwarvish roots). They also start knowing the common tongue, dwarvish, orcish, and the drow version of elvish."

Speak with Rats
Dragon #241, "Legacies of the Suel Imperium," page 50: "Jermlaine PCs begin the game speaking their own language, which sounds like the high-pitched twittering and squeaking of rats. They can communicate with rats in this manner, though this is an extremely limited “language.” Jermlaine have no concept of reading or writing, but they are capable of drawing pictures to describe what they have seen or wish to do. Jermlaine do understand a number of other languages perfectly well, though they cannot speak them clearly because of the size and shape of their vocal organs. Up to two extra languages may be understood at the game’s start, such as common and the racial languages of dwarves, drow, gnomes, orcs, goblins, or similar subterranean creatures found in the DM’s campaign."

) Skulk
Common Tongue
Elven
Dragon #241, "Legacies of the Suel Imperium," page 48: "A skulk PC begins the game knowing common and two other languages often spoken in the campaign region, usually demihuman tongues (elvish, dwarvish, etc.) or a human dialect (in the Flanaess: Nyrondese, Keolandish, etc.). None of them now speak their original language, Suloise."

) Mind Flayer
Weird Arcane Tongues
The Illithiad, page 56:
"Putting their prodigious minds to work, the illithids devised a system of writing based on texture and touch. This writing, called qualith, attempts to capture the essence of the immersive telepathic contact normally used for communication. The qualith utilizes four levels of logic simultaneously; four striated lines, each alternatedly solid or broken, along which illithids run their tentacles in order to perceive meaning."
"Illithid Sign Language: This medium, developed by the Tamer Creed to stymie psionic eavesdropping from rrakkma and other illithid foes, utilizes a highly complex form of sign language. This language engages all four of an illithid's tentacles. While not as rigorous as the engraved form of qualith or as far-reaching as psionic telepathy, illithid sign language has the advantage of being undetectable by eavesdropping or psionic bugging..."
Lords of Madness, page 71: "Mind flayers have no spoken language of their own. Among themselves, they communicate entirely by means of telepathy accented with tentacle motions... Mind flayers understand and can speak Undercommon, when verbal communication is necessary. Due to their high intelligence, most mind flayers know a number of other languages, too—usually Common, Elven, Aquan, and Infernal."
Volo's Guide to Monsters, page 75: "The physiology of mind flayers doesn't leave them well equipped for typical humanoid speech, and most use telepathy exclusively. At times, however, they find it necessary to speak... A mind flayer accomplishes such vocal feats by forcing one of its tentacles down its own throat and curling the tip to act as a tongue."

) Yuan-Ti
Common Tongue
Speak with Snakes & Snake-Like Creatures
The Scarlet Brotherhood, page 38: "Tlaman: This is the language spoken by the yuan-ti nations of Hepmonaland. Largely based on Olman, it has been mixed with serpentine terms, and words the snake-headed yuan-ti find hard to pronounce have been altered. The language also includes a few terms from Touv due to the yuan-ti occupation of Ichamamna. A speaker of Olman can understand 75% of what a Tlaman speaker is saying. Written Tlaman is almost identical to written Olman."
