    What's the pun behind Zuggtmoy?

    ...*self - explaining title*

Since there is some secret behind nearly every Greyhawk name, I wondered...

    Happy Happy Happy

    Cooking out the campaign...

    Nothing

I don't know. I don't think Zuggtmoy is an anagram of anyone of anything in particular. I think it is a great name for a demoness, though. It looks and sounds Gygaxian, without being Gygaxian.

But, maybe it is an anagram. If so, I bet someone will let us know.

    Hey, Ivid

Hey, Ivid, what is that poem you put in the postscript of your postings? Where did you get it?

    Smile

That's no poem, but a short record of my recent efforts in roleplaying.
Some months ago, I put all my games and rpg projects into my sig so that people knew what they could ask me about. But after some time, I thought I was a bit boring... Now only those who know me from past discussions on several boards know what I am referring to.

But that's no terrible secret: Here's the key. Wink (Long explanation follows.)

    Head of the Glooming Party:
The *Glooming Party* is my old Greyhawk party. (Odd name, isn't it?) My character in that group was Ivid the Bowman, Ranger from the Adri. While the group members usually don't play together anymore, I see the GP as my first serious attempt on gaming and frequently use the Glooming Party's adventures as background to my campaigns.

    Despot of the Darkonese East:
Referring to my current Ravenloft campaign, where the East of Darkon is conquered by some sort of super caliban bandit lords. (Currently put on hold.)

    Servant of the Lost City:
I am currently DMing an *Erde*-campaign, that was supposed to take place at *The Lost City of Gaxmoor* (Supermodule written by EGG's sons). However, the game developed it's own dinamics, and now the lost City is not more than a myth, a place where the orcs think that their gods rest.
*Party currently hacking its way through N4.*

    Warlord of the Steamwall Mountains:
My currently longest running campaign (Dragonlance/Taladas), the story about a group of Dark Knights exploring the lost lands of Krynn. They don't really care about the orders given to them. The current story arc leads them to the Steamwall Mountains, where they will discover a small minotaurian enclave (aka *Lost Caverns of Thracia*).

The Haunted Palace, finally, is a message group I started to develop a netbook for Masque of the Red Death.

    Happy

So, no poetical value in this.

(I should eventually change some things...
*Jester of the Blue Fields* to give some hint to my homebrew world, and *Keeper of the Sword*, for my upcoming *SECRET* Wilderlands campaign.)

i see, i see. I'm giving some thought on how i could use it in one of my games as some kind of forboding message for the players.

    thanks,

Happy So, I'll be quoted in another campaign?!

    Cool Cool Cool

Yep, that's the time to withdraw. - Now I am on the same level as EGG, Frank Mentzer and Dave Arneson... Nothing more to gain...
    Laughing Laughing Laughing

I'd be glad to help you to cook this out a bit more, if you think it's okay.
