    Castles and Crusadeshawk

Cheesy title aside, there has been a few discussions about using Greyhawk for C&C especially since Gary Gygax annouced the Castle Zagyg series of books for the system. ( for those that do not know C&C is an OGL system that emulates the feel of classic D&D editions and Castle Zagyg is non other than Castle Greyhawk itself).

I was wondering if anyone here had considered doing some work for a C&C based Greyhawk or was using the system for their game. They do seem to complement each other well and it seems like a natural fit for the system and world to go together.

don't take this the wrong way but instead of playing a system with the classic feel waynot just use the real thing? personly i prefer the 1st edition even 2nd edition over the 3.5th edition

The main reason is that C&C is basically the rosetta stone of D&D. With it's design style it can be used along with any edition of D&D with minimal conversion effort. Before Monsters and Treasure released I used the older monster manuals with no problems.

Alot of it is taste but, I like the feel that C&C has especially it's faster and looser play style that allows for off the cuff play I tend to like.
