    I don't think they featured in Gygax's Gord novels, when Gord was tracking the forces of Iuz through the Vesve.

    Never understood why Sargent placed them there...

    Those were't beastmen in the Gord books. Those were called Lossels and are a cross between baboons and orcs, or something like that. Lossels are much more stupid than orcs, but can track by scent and brachiate I think. I may be slightly off as its been a number or years since I read the books.

    I think lossels are in this same one. It had a few other Amedian things in it like some sort of gutworm thing.
