    Another "How do you say....?"

    Grogs,

How do you pronounce the name of the Mage of Hommlett? Is it like "I'm gonna BURN this fr*&66in' place down!" or like the name of the eponymous dead guy in "Weekend at BERNIE'S"? Or something else....

    Toodles,

    FL

I'll go with the attempted Samuel Jackson quote.

    The original pronunciation was bur-NAY.

I'm not sure how much weight you can put to this, but in the Atari verison of Temple of Elemental Evil, I believe it is pronounced "Burnie" Confused

However, I always proferred 'BURN' Laughing

"BURN" sounds like a mage I'd respect, while "BURN-ee" sounds like a mage I'd tell jokes abour (though likely not to his face). I've always said Burne as "BURN" (as in, "Burn, baby, burn!" and never "BURN-ee" (as in "Weekend at Bernie's"; Atari be damned!
