Hi all,

I am thinking of letting my campaign return to the Flanaess:

In the aftermath of the Greyhawk Wars, the heroes are summoned to Rauxes to plot the assassination of Ivid the Overking.

What do you think of this hook and how would you set this up?

Heh, sounds like a good reason to look at the Maze of Zayene (SP?) scenario again. Kuntz' four modules are targeted at levels 9-12.

Thanks. I checked them, but fear that they are just too long - I am aiming at a two-month campaign, with five to eight sessions, but nothing *epic*. Smile

Assassinate Ivid in eight sessions or less? Sounds impossible, unless they're high-level (11+?) PCs. Maybe you'll want to take the tact of the subject line -- have the PCs deal with rival assassination plots instead of their own.

I am still very unsure of how to set it up - it will be an attempt to kill the Overking, that is all I know for sure. However, if the group ends up with that goal or does soemthing completely different, is something I yet have to ellaborate. - Maybe their real work in Rauxes then just is to rescue a priest, or to fight a fiend knight... Something un-epic, in any case. Smile
