Everyone here plays some form of D&D, but do you play anything else?
I'm quite fond of the game All Flesh Must Be Eaten, which is all about playing games of zombie based horror-survival. It's got nice simple rules and a character creation system that's you can make as complex or as easy as you desire.
Plus, I'm a fan of Romero films and the Resident Evil games, so this game was practically made for me.
Strangely, against my will, and without any deliberate choice on my part, I now play only D&D and it's various d20 cousins. I'm not involved in any long-term campaigns other that D&D, though. I mostly use the other d20 games to supplement my D&D game, and on rare occasions I'll play a complete scenario or two of the other games to take a break from D&D.
I used to play (back in the early TSR days) any RPG that came down the pike, but somehow I've drifted into the d20-only camp. I think it's because I just don't want to take the time to learn another game system. I suppose I'm getting lazy in my old age.
I played Circus Maximus, the Avalon Hill game refereed by Tim Kask at the LGGC and it was fantastic. Chariot racing a la Ben-Hur!!! Yeah.
I've also played and enjoyed Star Frontiers in online games. Great stuff with much room for humor and hilarious role playing. _________________ By the pricking of my thumbs, Something wicked this way comes: ~ 2nd witch - Act IV Scene 1 Macbeth
I am a huge fan of Top Secret/S.I., I have spent a considerable number of years rewriting the rules from top to bottom and creating my own Players Guide while retaining the original rules, I've essentially doubled the book size by adding new rules and making most of the section of the game far more detailed. Turned out great.
I also have started a Legion of Superheroes roleplaying game, though it is in it's infancy in regards to being completed. _________________ Eileen of Greyhawk, Prophet of Istus, Messenger of the Gods
