    Greyhawk's Underdark

Recently I posted an update to my Greyhawk's Underdark page that people may be interested in at http://melkot.com/locations/underdark/underdark.html

However, what may actually be of more interest to people is what the article is being prepared for. Over on the Dragonsfoot board (link on my webpage that points directly to the forum topic, one of the most impressive threads on the site), there is a community project to detail all the areas marked on the underdark map from the classic Drow series of 1E modules. As they are completed by different people, the encounter areas are being compiled into a master document (my contribution hasn't been included yet) located at http://dead.greyhawk.googlepages.com/mappingthedepths
and has grown to be quite an impressive document. I encourage everyone to check it out.

I was a REALLY late comer to the project, so its the DF community that deserve all of the kudos. Although I'd been a poster on that site for years, I never discovered that thread until last year. They've been working on it since 2006, and there was a tremendous amount of work already done when I found it. It is a wonderful model for other people wanting to start similar community projects, something that has certainly been suggested here on Canonfire! before.

I'm overwhelmed. This is going to keep me busy for a while. I'm sure it is going to be good. Thanks.

Wow Shocked Great material, really nice to see, I am very interested in delving further into this, allot to look at there.

I agree Maldin, and as much as I procrastinate Embarassed , I would be "so there!" if we grouped together to create such a simliar piece.

    We can do this! Cool

May I suggest a venue be determined, maybe a city?

Looking forward to see reaction/action to this.

    Cheers Happy

That reminds me! I have a page for the IGP that I should work on next, now that the Underdark update is up.

The old skool 1e feel to this bit brings back some fond memories of running amok in GDQ. Nice job on this.

You got me there... I just figured that IronGate was already good to go and some other location would be neat to do up.

I still have a half-of-a-write-up on a Pub along the docks for IronGate which I was suppose to forward to Maldin, oh, about 3 years ago... Embarassed
    ..eh Maldin...you still want it?

All hail AG, Lord King of Procrastination!
