    Maure Castle

Random question - when's the last time anyone (outside of their castle) heard from or saw one of the Maure family? Was it 50 years ago, or 500? Trying to get a sense of how long it's just been a big, spooky ruin. Any input appreciated, whether it's citing of canon or personal opinion.

There are hints in WG5 that the Castle isn't abandoned, which Rob followed up on in an additional MC article on the PPP site @ http://site.pied-piper-publishing.com/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=53&Itemid=40 (you can also download the original version of Warlock's Walk there).

I don't recall offhand if the MC OJ issue #24 addressed the question of other living Maure scions or not?: see http://www.oerthjournal.com/oj23.html (and I haven't done a detailed A/B comparison between Rob's original Mysterious Maure article and the one that appears in OJ too, but IIRC he didn't make many/any changes for the OJ publication).

I kept the plot and the core story of the adventure intact the only changes were edition-based (monsters, NPCs stats, traps) so it should be there as well. This information can be found here, http://www.oerthjournal.com/oj23.html

As the other Maure Castle levels were done in 3.5e format I kept this adventure as a 3.5e D&D adventure too.
