I am not certain this is an appropriate place for this post but I will trust that it is and, if mistaken, trust that I will be corrected with some understanding that I am new to Canonfire.
As someone new, I have been familiarizing myself with this site. The last few days I have finished reading the articles in the Topics section. There are a number of fine pieces but one just blew me away and while, I appended a comment to that article, I note that very few people seem to read all but a few articles and even fewer actually append a comment. This is unfortunate in many cases and a terrible shame in the case of several really outstanding efforts.
I want to draw attention to what I think is finest article I happened upon which has had too few reads. In the Gods subcategory, you will find an article by "Rasgon" entitled "Baphomet." Is is extremely well-written. It is fascinating in its content, chiefly a discussion of the demonprince Baphomet and related matters. It is inventive in its approach. And it is comprehensive in its handling of the subject matter. It is entirely professional and could be published in a Monster Manual or such tommorrow with few changes. To paraphrase Larry the Cable Guy, "I don't care who you are, this is good."
If you want a good read or your interest is not otherwise engaged here at the moment, give Bahomet a read. Based on the number of reads, I'm sure most of you have never seen this article.
