    What's with the Greyhawk wiki?

I just get blank pages when I try to go to any pages from the wiki.

I've been having problems accessing The Oerth Journal for the past week as well. None of the links will open.

It's apparently been down for several weeks, now, and although there have been sporadic announcements to the effect that "someone is working on it", nothing concrete seems to have occurred.

In addition, for a long time leading up to the outage, I tried unsuccessfully to get access to the wiki to be able to contribute, since it's locked down and requires approval for new accounts.

It has led me to wonder, though, whether a new wiki might not be in order, if the situation with the current wiki cannot be resolved. I'd gladly volunteer for such a venture, if it became necessary.

I'm still pressing Mr. Holian into getting the wiki back up since alot of people, myself included use it frequently. I think as Joe suggests a new wiki site may be in order. I do know all the data entered in the GHwiki so far is safe however. He just can't seem to get it reloaded. I'm not an expert on such things of course. I'll pass on the concerns of this thread ASAP.

Holian has got the wiki back up and running. If anyone sees any problems with the current wiki installation let us know. I for one can already see the pics/graphics are missing. I'll check with him on that. Otherwise, we're good! Smile

I think a backup site of the material here on Canonfire as well as the wiki should be considered.

I for one would hate to see anything lost. I too have the know how to assist with this and get backup sites up and running.

Let me know if anyone wants to follow through on this.

    Gary,

Managed to get the wiki back up and running and might I add a new sleek design.

    DH,

Great idea you should get in touch with Gary, I'm sure he would be happy to have the help.
