    Blacksmith or Weaponsmith?

For weaponsmiths, Fedroot of Fedroot's Daggerarium in Greyhawk (S9) is a famous weaponsmith.

In the Shield Lands, Law's Forge is/was a major weapon crafting location with multiple highly skilled smiths. It is detailed in Iuz the Evil.

Pre-wars, the Bandit Kingdoms, particularly Stoink, were noted centers of the weapons trade.

    I hope this helps.

The Village of Homlet has a named smith in it.

You can read about Armand Hammer, the blacksmith/weaponsmith in my version of The Keep on the Borderlands, here: http://www.canonfire.com/cf/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=5218

Manlin Osgood in Diamond Lake, whose distinctive "O" symbol on his work "is a regional sign of quality" (Dungeon #124.62).
