    The Books, Please

Okay, set me straight on this, please.

What are the titles of the two lines of books concerning Gord the Rogue? I know there is a TSR line, two of the books of which were penned by the august Gary Gygax. Are those the Mika Trilogy? There seems to be more than three, though. Because didn't Estes do some after Mr. Gygax? Are the Greyhawk Adventures novels the same as the Mika books?

And, what are the books and their order in the non-TSR "Gord the Rogue" series? Were those all written by Mr. Gygax?

Will someone kindly list these novels, for me, please.

Yes the GH Adventures books 3-6 were by Rose Estes. They are the Mika books. Estes also wrote The Eyes Have It, which has a GH logo on it.

Erik Monaīs website has some good info on all of this. Read about the Estes books here:
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.tc.umn.edu/~monax002/Council/resources/rose/review.html
    and here:
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.tc.umn.edu/~monax002/Council/resources/rose/rosehate.html

Here`s pics of all the old GH books incl. Quag Keep, the excellent Nightwatch and some gamebooks:
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.tc.umn.edu/~monax002/Council/resources/novels/novels.html
(click on the first book to read his indepth summary of Saga of Old City)

These are the Gygax Gord books & stories:
    Saga of Old City (TSR)
    Artifact of Evil (TSR)
    Sea of Death (New Infinities)
    Dance of Demons (New Infinities)
    Come Endless Darkness (New Infinities)
    Night Arrant (New Infinities) [anthology]
    City of Hawks (New Infinities)
"At Moonset Blackcat Comes," Dragon #100 (TSR) [short story featuring Gord and the Catlord, Rexfelis]
"Evening Odds," from Pawn of Chaos (White Wolf) [Elric anthology]

The suggested reading order is probably this:

    Saga of Old City (TSR)
    Artifact of Evil (TSR)
"At Moonset Blackcat Comes," Dragon #100 (TSR)
City of Hawks (New Infinities) [prequel to SoOC]
    Night Arrant (New Infinities) [anthology]
    Sea of Death (New Infinities)
    Dance of Demons (New Infinities)
    Come Endless Darkness (New Infinities)

Here`s a short summary of all the books Gord books that I pilfered from the somewhere on the web:
    http://home.versanet.de/~f-dyck/GHBooks.txt

The Ravenloft Novel Lord of the Necropolis has the first few chapters set on Oerth.(Azalin King hails from the Great Kingdom!) I found the book quite good.

Together with these books from the 90's thatīs all GH novels that I`m aware of:
    Against the Giants
    White Plume Mountain
Descent into the Depths of the Earth
    The Temple of Elemental Evil
    Queen of the Demonweb Pits
    Keep on the Borderlands
    The Tomb of Horrors

    Thank You

This is great stuff. Thanks a ton, Thanael. I have Saga of Old City, Dragon 100 and Artifact of Evil. Now I know what exactly I need to buy. I've been wanting to read these for while.

    Thanks again.
