    Prodigal Son Returns Home ...

After much debate and consideration, it's time for me to head home, back to campaigns of yesteryear ...

Enter a World of Wonder & Intrigue, a world where bandit kingdoms raid from their remote strongholds; A world where noble elves fight savage invaders and where bold knights wage war on the terror of Iuz; A world scarred by a vast Sea of Dust, across which drift lost memories from the awful, forgotten past.

    Enter the world of Greyhawk!

It was that blurb that sold me on Greyhawk many years ago, as much as the art of the box. Now I have come full circle and found my way home ...

Previously in the Viscounty of Verbobonc, the year 579CY

"The week of Growfest marked the coming of Summer, and the ending of Spring. The work was done and now came the time for celebration; with a week of festivities throughout the Flanaess ...

This was not the case for Markus du Monte, the days of festivities ate at him, his thoughts locked in the past. The wound in his side ached with the evening chill, now healed, a reminder of his failings ...

The common room of the Wench was smokey from the damp logs that smoldered in the large hearth. The flame fighting to warm the room against the evening chill. Markus sat at the far table away from the festivities of the patrons. Shifting his weight in the chair, he idly ran his finger around the rim of the tankard standing on the table before him. His mind occupied, as always with the events of the past and that of his friends ..."

A fallen hero, broken, driven by guilt and betrayal - battling internal demons, waiting ... Will he be able to muster new heroes to fight against the forces of evil?

    A New Beginning ... 2017.
