D&D Vol. III: SAMPLE MAP OF UNDERWORLD LEVEL

THE UNDERWORLD & WILDERNESS ADVENTURES booklet says, "Room "E" is a transporter, two ways, to just about anywhere the referee likes, including the center of the earth or the moon."

I found a map that can be used for an inner Oerth because it's a grid that can be flipped with few colors that should be easy to inverse:

I was thinking of adapting Mystara's Matera to Greyhawk's Celene/Kule and was wondering about mapping out dungeons there that would also exist in a "demi-transparent shell across which most sunlight may lit the interior every lunar day." I got that from http://www.pandius.com/materarv.html. If the dirt is transparent, then would PCs see through a dungeon maze or would the dirt give off enough light to see by? What's the concept here do you think?

Is that too wacky for you? Or does it intrigue you?

I was thinking of having the one-way transporter go to Luna/Raenei. I don't see a map for Luna/Raenei so I was thinking of adapting Mystara's Patera/Myoshima's map:
