Priests of Joramy(Goddess of Fire, Volcanos, Anger, Wrath, Quarrels)

AL: TN, CN, NG, CG, RA: red & orange robes in a flame pattern, SY: an erupting volcano, AR: any metal, any shield, Wpn: dagger, flail, hammer, mace, morning star, staff, two-handed sword*; SPH: all, charm, combat, divination(m), elemental (air, earth, fire), guardian, healing(m), necromantic(m), protection, sun, thought, Spl: see below, Add: Chariot of Sustarre, faerie fire, fire purge.

Priests of Joramy often wear armors made of bronze, or of bronze-gilded steel or iron. Priests of Joramy may use spells from the magic-user school of elemental fire (see Tome of Magic) as if they were priest spells of equal level. All spells of the elemental fire school/sphere are cast by priests of Joramy as if they were one experience level higher.

Priests of Joramy gain the bonus non-weapon proficiency of fire-building at 1st level. At 5th level, priests of Joramy gain a +1 bonus on all saves vs. fire/heat of any kind, and take one less point of damage per die, to a minimum of 1 point per die. This power is cumulative with spells or devices that protect from fire/heat as well. At 9th level, priests of Joramy become immune to the effects of wall of fire spells and similar barriers, being able to pass through them without harm. At 14th level, priest of Joramy may use a symbol of discord 1/day, as per the magic-user spell of the same name and cast at the level of the priest. Priests of Joramy turn undead at -2 levels.

Joramy is worshipped in the lands near the Hellfurnaces. Ceremonial items are made of bronze and encrusted with rubies and/or jacinths. Ceremonies to Joramy include gongs, drums, the burning of scented coals, and raging fires. Some temples are built into the sides of Volcanoes, which are considered to be holy sites.

For the life of me I can’t remember if I had a source for this entry, other than the 1983 Greyhawk Boxed set.
