    Nice One, Morte Smile

Suggestion: Why not include Iggwilv at the next trip, perhaps using that infamous scene at Castle Greyhawk (yeah, it sucks) where the witch and the demon dally in front of the heroes while orcus gave a little surprise (IIRC, a golden statue labeled "from Orcus with love") ?

Maybe the original pic was in Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, but you even managed to get the alu-fiend's outfit right. Its those kinds of details that really crack me up sometimes about your stuff.

Is there a significance to the mirror that I'm missing?

Cebrion: I like to throw in little details like that, b/c when people actually spot my sources I know I'm doing my job right. Wink

Rasgon: The mirror on the other hand is an addition of my own. Unlike the object to the right of the curtains, the mirror's significance is implied. Graz'zt is the handsomest of demon princes who according to BovD has a 39 Cha. Naturally he is vain! Laughing

A classic in the making. Extra kudo points to anyone who can name all the artworks I parody and figure out the phrase at the end.

I don't suppose "Who farted koss" means anything?

No. Didn't think so. I hate anagrams. Can I name all the works of art, anyway?

Yer cold on the anagram. At least you tried. Sure go ahead and name the artworks, that would be worth the kudos!

Okay, I think all the "Vecna Code" artworks are -

Panel 1 "Mona Lisa," da Vinci
Panel 2 "The Star," Degas. "Madonna of the Rocks," da Vinci. "Portrait of the Artist's Mother (aka Whistler's Mother)," James McNeill Whistler
Panel 6 "The Last Supper," da Vinci

And I suspect that panel 3 is an homage to a Sutherland or Trampier (can't remember which) illo in the 1st edition of the DMG of a wizard shooting somebody down on the street outside the Green Griffon with some kind of ray from his finger. Of course I could just have an overactive imagination.

Bravo! I would've taken any Degas ballerina work. The artist was good enough there. You even nailed the Trampier homage, nice! Double kudos! Now, can you unscrabmble:

Nothing could be more awesome than what you did. You're a freakin' comic genius. Happy

My favorite is still the "Naming of the Ixitxachitl" strip. Man, I never get tired of seeing Demogorgon taking the Wand of Orcus right in the huevos. It's better than a wiffle ball bat!

While I'll cerainly add comic genius to my cap o' feathers, I cannot take all the credit for your favorite of my run. That particular strip was guest written by local canonfire member, Cebrion.

For those who don't remember it, check it out, hopefully Demogorgon shall return soon:

    ROTFLMAO!!!!!

Morte, you rocked on this on Happy . The strip reminds me of a friendīs saying about the FR 2E Zhentarin, "No evil deed is petty enough", using the same babyīs candy stealing as an example. Your strip also illustrates the unfair lack of grand, canon, plots regarding the Black Rider. I must say that Iīm quite honored for your citation, thank you :-) . As usual, you put some subtle hints in the story. Please, correct me if Iīm wrong:

    - The waterskin belongs to Fharlanghn, and Our Wickedness decided to empty it in a "major" effort to hamper the Dweller at the Horizonīs walk.

    - The emaciated hag with is Famine, with the headband pointing to her monk class

    - Elohnna is the blond woman who was sneezed at. (Not sure about this one as she normally dons green)

    - The "whiner" hag is Malevolence, complaining about the lack "professionalism" of her patron.

Again, you did a great job. Congrats!

No problem Wyk, I now seem to find your name synonymous with Incabulos and the Hags if that's a good thing?

As for the other deeper readings into the comic, mmm, sure! Why not?

The Night Hag is straight from the Monster Manual. I love to mimic Wayne Reynold's character concepts when I can. As a personal tweak, I changed the coloring of Incab's face from totally dark grey to just a pale face shadowed by his hair with glowing white eyes. Minor tweak. What was difficult about this strip is the punchline, I had about half a dozen ideas for what the Hag would say to him, I should've made it a caption contest!

Heh, Iīm not compaining about this correlation ;-)

Morte, I like W.R art when he doesnīt exaggerate (too much movement in his drawings sometimes) and the changes in Incabulos portrait are just fine. I also agree itīd be a great caption contest :-)
