The Greyhawk Adventurer’s Atlas
Introduction and Part 1 - The Baklunish West
This is first installment of a 13-part series of annotated maps of the Flanaess in pdf format. Its primary goal is to allow DM’s to create campaigns for their players. For those interested in Greyhawk lore, the atlas may also be useful as a reference for adventure creation, fiction writing or general geographic information.
Parts 1 through 12 are maps focused on plotting adventure locations from three editions, 1st through 3rd, with both canon and fan adventure sources included. Part 13 is a series of three appendices listing the adventures by party level, adventures by geographic location and finally an exhaustive list of online sources for numerous fan works, with research tips and suggestions for those interested. The installments are being released separate so that they can be downloaded as needed to aid DM’s in plotting a campaign. Alternatively, all 13 parts can be collected up to form one entire volume, if desired.
Each atlas installment covers a different set of countries and/or regions of the Flanaess, loosely grouped by geography. In this installment, the introduction covers the reasons for creating the work, the sources used and that atlas’ entry codes and format in detail. Part 1 details the majority of the known lands of the Baklunish West, including Ekbir, Tusmit, Ket, Zeif, Ull, the Arir Erg and the Dry Steppes.

This project is really huge, so I expect there to be corrections needed - the more brains in on this, the better.
One possibility is that you could post them here, so I can fix 'em up. Another idea: I could start a thread in the projects forum area for this as well - let me know which you'd prefer so I can start collecting corrections. The only caveat is that I'd like to get all 12 parts online before swamping Mortellan with any updates. |

One question.... will there be a large type edition for us old timers?

I honestly had no idea it would be so detailed. A detailed examination of each region, one particular location, but also a description. Certainly it is a good material to form an .. here a lot of room for imagination and fantasy. Great work. The atlas - it's really a pleasant discovery.
