Re: Greyhawk Content of the Coloring Album (Score: 1) by Tzelios on Sat, January 22, 2005 (User Info | Send a Message) | Well Morty, for me it is what I will refer from now on as a “potentially canon” text. It is indeed so, since it is a logical extension of Greyhawk literature. I challenge everybody to refute my claims.
It is a formal proof that the Coloring Album is a valid Greyhawk reference. The main sources I used are the Coloring Album and Dungeonland, as well as the source not written by Gygax during his administration in TSR entitled Hidden Shrine of Tomoachan.
The only thing I devised is the Pastorate of Logical Discoursers and Enquires in Mitrik, Veluna, and I expect some discussion about it. The Pastorate apparatus is the seal of my method, thus my mention in the beginning of the text. Free of politics or personal campaign developments I investigate Greyhawk reality as it really is. It is very probable that such an institution exists in Veluna, given its Raoan alignment. Once upon a time, though, it was called Pastorate of Practical Discoursers and Enquires, to imbue the Cuthbertine alignment, characteristic of the dominant faith in Veluna at that time.
More later,
