    But what if a hobgoblin, originally born to a humble status, proves himself extraordinarily in combat? What if it's him who helps the tribe rise in status? Is there really no possibility for him to gain in status and power? I think that such an organisation would lead to rigidity, inflexibility, unability to act and, finally, decline.
