I am indeed working on this from the very start of DM, or indeed I will be - I went back to the VERY beginning with the Fall of a Paladin. This story will be the climax to 'Paladin.
But it will be greatly expanded to tell the whole story. My email game Hawks Death, is the continuation of this campaign (see me for details).
Mort however is more than welcome to begin writing his memoirs, I think that they would make for very interesting reading. However the Man of the Cranes reserves the right to exercise for editorial control. ;)
