Re: the Firstborn (Score: 1) by grodog on Thu, April 18, 2002 (User Info | Send a Message) http://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/greyhawk.html | The Firstborn are detailed in part in my Abyssal Genealogy article, Merric.
I'm glad you enjoyed the piece. I haven't seen D&DG yet, but will certainly do a comparison to see how underpowered my version is now ;->
In most of my campaigns, most of the Firstborn play an insignificant role, except as background lore, window-dressing, etc. However, like I've always wanted to run an all-Thieves campaign, I've also wanted to run a campaign where PCs played demons. In that game, the Firstborn would naturally play a larger role, though probably still mostly in the background.
Trillz the Dark was an NPC from my younger brother Phil's campaign from years and years ago. In that game, Phil had Tiamat slain by the NPC (perhaps we played this out, I don't really recall now), and I wanted to maintain that continuity in my games, but also wanted to fix Tiamat to be a figure I liked, which seemed a bit pointless if she was dead. Hence Miatta's creation. |
