This is great stuff. For more on a chaotic library, look over the Archives as presented in Patrick Rothfuss's novels - they're a mess for several reasons, such as: differing organizational philosophies of head archivists; supporters of one philosophy actively sabotaging the efforts of another; users hiding books for later use or just misshelving them; the chaos that comes with sheer age and the masses of texts that pile up.
