    In a way - all the gods (or most of them) existed since the emergence of the Oeridian people. Its just that they had much less of a 'separate existence' if you will, and the Velaeri (Velnius, Atroa, Sotillion, Wenta and Telchur) were more prominent than the Numina (Fharlanghn, Celestian, Pholtus, Heironeous and Hextor, etc) as they were the deities worshipped by every household every day. The Numina were more 'civil' deities worshipped or propitiated at specific times or in specific situations. It is true that they may well represent a more 'genuine' Oeridian religious belief than the worship of the Imperial Orthodox Church, but the same argument may well apply to the worship of the brothers Fharlanghn and Celestian.....
