(User Info | Send a Message) | I find it refreshing that you mention the Ogilarchs being invited, simply because they're the Ogilarchs of the city. Even though I don't think you realized you did what I'm accusing you of doing.
Most people forget that Money and Business is only half of Zilchus' portfolio. The other half being Power, Prestige, and Influence, which do not necessarily have anything to do with cash.
Kings revere Zilchus, not because he fills their treasury (although, that IS a nice benefit), but because he represents their power over the kingdom, the nobility, and the commoners. Well, most kings...there have been a few money-grubbing monarchs out there, who were more concerned with hard coins than with temporal power. |
