The design was also used when making the RPGA LG Nyrond Mowbrenn. A 591 CYish version was done by the Nyrond Triad at

This is up to 591 CY - though I think they went a completely different route to my original plans for Mowbrenn.

The Crimson Ascendant article I wrote ages ago on this site basically sums up the first 4 sessions of the campaign we ran in Mowbrenn.

Basically, Quaralanth and his cult used the blood gathered from worshippers to build Bloodcrystal IMC (there were other low-key blood cults throughout Nyrond, and Bloodcrystal only appeared in 585 CY) and also used the dark magics to corrupt some Olidmarran artifacts (basically kegs of infinite wine or some such) drive the public mad and start riots in the streets of Mowbrenn.

It ended with the Captain of the Guard (Quaralanth's co-conspirator and stand-in as Blooded One) killed by the party, Count Blackmar struck down and Quaralanth restoring "order" in a Palpatine kind of way, Cunal being dragged off to Pilgrim's Gate by the Valorous League (hence my linking the two locales - though the party didn't bother to rescue him) and enough bloodshed to wake something very scary up in the Undercity... basically a To Be Continued ending. :)
