This page is a catalogue of Giants living on Oerth assembled by the WoTC Greyhawk Forum Crew.

A note on the location column: In all instances the location is stated as the first known source for the specific giant in question.

You'll find below that it has been seperated into 2 distinct sections relating to the form in which the giant's individual correlation with Oerth is presented.

In many cases, Giants will be presented in an unindividual format. In these instances, the NAME column will state one of the following.

family: depicting a (not individually named) family of giants.
settlement: depicting a village or other congregation of giants.
numerous: depicting an unspecified plural amount of giants.

Also, if a mixture of Giant races is presented, then the RACE column will reflect this by listing the RACE as various.

Furthermore, many products describe a number of giants in a given location with a very vague description. For the most part, these types of references have been ignored.
For Example, on page 57 of the From the Ashes Boxed Set Atlas, under the heading Corusk Mountains there is a passage that reads...

"Most peaks here are permanently ice-capped, and while frost giants, yeti, and taer are not common, they are dangerous enough to keep most folk away."

Instances like the one above allow us to ascertain that there are indeed frost giants inhabiting the peaks of the Corusk Mountains, however, this compilation is intended to be much more specific and vague references such as the above should be ignored as it pertains to this piece.

1. Officially Published Canon Giants.
The 1st table is a collection of Giants found in officially published materials as recognized by Greyhawk's Intellectual Property owner, currently Wizards of the Coast. The only exception to this rule may be in Giants found in published Novel form or Aquaria related content, however, they were arbitrarily added in good faith.

2. Non-Canonical Psuedo-Published Giants.
The 2nd table shows representations of Oerth's Giants in non-canonical (mostly web) published form, mostly considered to be fan-fiction, or fan-created material and are not official recognized by Greyhawks Intellectual Property owner, currently Wizards of the Coast.

In this table, the far right column labeled location, contains redirect weblinks (when possible) connecting to the particular source of the giant in question on that given row. Feel free to peruse through those pages and learn about some of these well detailed creatures.
