Eldritch Lords of Rel Deven

How much do we know about the Eldritch Lords of Rel Deven, besides their brief write-up in OJ3? My players are in Rel Deven right now, and one of them is interested in joining the society.

The Greyhawk Wiki has a nice write-up on the Eldritch Lords of Rel Deven. But I'll bet you already knew that. Wink

Yeah, the Wiki entry is just a poorly-edited duplication of Gary Holian's article from OJ3. With 100+ views on this thread already, I guess the answer to my original question is, "Nothing." Sad

Apparently not. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Sad Embarassed

Have you tried asking Gary on the Thursday night chat? He's usually there at that time and sometimes he's there during the week. Wink

Apparently they're mentioned in Dragon #291:

Thanks, rasgon. I'd looked at that already. It's just a passing reference in the "Death Knights of Oerth" article.

We know from Dragon #299 that Lum the Mad once fought Ur-Flannae sorcerers in the Thelwood. I wonder if he has a history involving the founding of Rel Deven? Perhaps he was sent to lead soldiers to avenge the death of Lothan.

Lum was a wizard, according to Vortex of Madness, and the Eldritch Lords might look on him as a founder of their order or a rival of their founders.

Ooh, nice catch (though it's actually DRAGON® #294)! I especially like the tie-in to Lothan. I think Lum was of the Chaotic Evil branch of House Cranden, whereas the Eldritch Lords strike me as enlightened Neutrals, so he probably wouldn't be particularly revered by them. Still, I can work in some Lum references as I'm designing my Rel Deven megadungeon....
