Does anyone know of or have any idea for the lands beyond the Flanaess. I have seen a write up of a seul empire to the south (cant remember who did it though). And was wondering if there are any other's that have been done.

There are maps for both Hyperborea and Eyrpt out there on the net as well as a few pages on Hyperborea's inhabitants and similiar by Jim Lanter.

And ofcourse, there a a few articles on this site under the topic heading of "Beyond the Flanaess."

If you can get your hands on a copy, Dragon Annual #1 (1996) has a great little overview of the world of Oerth "Beyond the Flanaess." It includes a nice map as well and gives a brief description of the various regions. You are able to see even more almost direct parallels between Oerth and our real Earth.

Some highlights include:
"Celestial Imperium: A vast nation peopled by a hard-working peasantry ruled by a complex bureaucracy" (can we say China)
"Erypt: An arid land ruled by a dynasty of priest kings" (can anyone say "Ancient Egypt")
"Orcreich: A nation of orcs ruled by a tyrannical king. The orcs seem to thrive under the brutal regime" (perhaps Hitler's Germany).
