Hi all,
In the *The Fright at Tristor* module, the orcs that attack the area are lead by an enigmatic figure called *The Watcher*.
Is this a LG breed, or does non-LG-canon info exist on him... Her... It?
:)
Yours,

I poked around the LG Pale website, they do a good job of documenting their scenarios and what happened. From reading the module it sounds like they were leaving it open for a sequel but I don't see that they have done one yet.

Oh, I figured it was a reference to Noel (surname forgotten), who used to post a lot on GreyTalk.... _________________ Allan Grohe
https://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/greyhawk.html
https://grodog.blogspot.com/

Noel Graham.
Not sure if it was a reference to him - though it could very well have been.
I think the Pale at the time has some idea to make it a white dragon from the mountains, though I'm only 50% certain of that (whites strike be as being a bit thick to be evil masterminds).

Thank you for the info!
I don't knwo how I'll fix things for my game in the end, but that white dragon as the lord of the orcs could work indeed... _________________ "A Minstrel's Memory": PBPs & Other Games, since 2005.

The Fright at Tristor was a tournament module I rescued from the oblivion of the RPGA's adventure file. I updated the adventure a great deal, but the reference to the Watcher was in the original adventure. I didn't do too much plotting about him, leaving his development for future releases that (for one reason or another) never came about.
I do like the idea of Noel Graham sending orcs into the Theocracy of the Pale, though. :)

I must confess that I first thought of this movie character as well...

How sad. The adventure had kind of a weak ending IMO, but with a little bit of work, one could do great things with it. (Not saying that I didn't like it - all the contrary: It managed to really inspire me.)
FYI, I am going to run the *Dragonspate Geyser* scenario from the old JG book of treasure maps as a sequel where the party can confront the white dragon Woesinger mentioned, if this campaign comes to be. _________________ "A Minstrel's Memory": PBPs & Other Games, since 2005.
