My Greyhawk Heraldry

Just started something new; and I'll try to keep adding to it. I make a good deal of heraldry for my campaigns and have been wanting to showcase some of it, so I started a site doing just that. The biographical info is from my own campaigns, using as much canon and fanon info as I can find, and whatever I come up with on my own. Here's the link - https://sites.google.com/site/mygreyhawkheraldry/. Hope you enjoy it.

It's a good start, smillan. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Well done! Heraldry is one of those things I never dabbled in but wish I did. As such, I love to see others' custom work.

Really nice job, Smillan! Thanks for posting.

No visual from me, but here's one I have from a long time ago:

Aldwin Narger: Son of Angwin, Knight of Mirelane, Representative of Low Celadon. Thane of Lord Furnten, vassal of Count Brackenmoor.

Heraldry: Ermine, a bordure azure, three trees fesswise proper.

Narger is a lesser Oeridian nobleman. His territory is roughly from the Nesser at "Hulla" (or "Hullew" depending on dialect, a tiny port town on the Nesser), north around Cuss Lake (on which Hulla resides), very loose a couple miles north of the lake, and 15 miles east along the Mirelane road (a tiny bit of N3-86 and M3-86). This area, with the increasing usage of the Nesser and Hulla to move goods to Beetu, has gained a little in importance, but is still obscure.

Aldwin has good relationship with local Big Families (remnants of local Flan nobility. The local Flan tribe is known as "Denbrun"). Narger maintains his hall residence outside Hulla near Skanvel, and provides for a stout tower in Hulla proper.

Not all lands along the Beetu Road are stricly controlled – tacit agreements with other Denbrun (Flan) Big Families along the way help keep them safe.

Hey, I won't say No! And to help make it more worthwhile, I'll post more tidbits in the Gnatmarsh thread.

First pass, although I'm not happy with the tree image I found. I'll try it with something more stylized, though still proper.

Second pass. Used a squared off tree (the one I used for Nerisgwenn Woodhill's arms), which gives more the appearance of a fess. I used a different ermine and cleaned it up so there's no overlap of the charges with the ermine.
