A thought toward the victims of Katrina...

I just wanted to post my sympathies for those who are enduring the terrible Katrina hurricane, whether at New Orleans or at the nearby affected areas. I hope no greyhawker here is having to face such tragedy and I wish the best of luck for those who have any friends or relatives there.

Releif efforts

I will second that.

One of my Military Police Companies was sent out for relief efforts a few days ago. Some of those guys were deployed after 9/11 and for Operation Iraqi Freedom, now they are called on to deploy again. Godspeed to them. All I did to help was to assist in getting them out the door, but every bit helps.

So let us take some time to do what we can in this hour of need. Any help will be appreciated.

My thoughts are for anyone involved in this crisis, particularly Miller and his wife's family. I hope all concerned are safe and sound.

We made it!

Hi everybody!

This is Kaleem , Tedra, & Draga. It got rough here, and all the landmarks here are gone. but our houses made it with flyin colors. We were lucky though. Everything south of our main railroad tracks ( about 2 miles inland) waqs 95% wiped clean. It has done some MAJOR damage. We just wanted anyone that was wondering if peolpe that rode it out made it. Our ( tedra & kaleem's) cable is still out, but if you need to know anything, just write draga! LOL! Thanks for the support and we'll write as soon as our cable is hooked back up!

Thanks everybody for the support.

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your thoughts. Finally back online after four weeks now. It's been very heartsickening the past month, with everything destroyed and washed away. Its good to see the familiar pages of CF! again.

This is our hometown of Gulfport; a before and after of our beach front.

A pop-up blocker will stop the video from opening. Just for any who may be curious as to what our city looked like before, and now after Katrina. Thanks again guys. Its good to be back.
