Greetings fellows. I've been a long time lurker here at canonfire, and have found the articles and forums to be of immense help to me in our greyhawk campaign.
For the last several years, I've been running and managing the Baklunish regions in our groups ongoing world campaign in loveable old greyhawk. the focus for my campaign has been within the wegwiur lands.
Seeing hte new post fest up, I finally got off my hands as it were and submitted as I'd always planned to in the previous ones, so great to see this getting off and running again!
Anywho, the main reason for my posting here was to gauge the interest of the community in a series of articles fleshing out the wegwiur lands somewhat? If y'all are interested, I'll start collecting my tangled campaign resources into something comprehensible and start submitting them as i have the time.

I would be most interested
Especially since I feel "the nomads" have gotten short changed. I am most interested in your take on The Wegwiur.

Post away! Some of that material might prove useful for my upcoming Blackmoor campaign...

Yak-Men have mind-controlled ALL the Wolf Nomads. Did you write about that...?

Definitely do a series on the Wolf Nomads! If these folks can put up with my Ull series then they'll love the Wegwuir. On that topic, aren't Wegwuir just Paynims who merged with displaced Oerids and mingled some with Rover Flan? Fah! Inbred mutts!

Definitely! My home-made gazeteer has about 300 pages on Keoland and 8 pages on the Wolf Nomads! There are few to no known npcs, very few details about places of mystery, only one brief mention in Dungeon (I think) for Ungra Balan, and no info on various tribes and their respective khans etc. Loads of potential.

Welcome Jarthalas! I would love to see some info on the Nomads as well. We have rather little to run off of right now, being limited to a couple pages of reference (and of course the ever wonderful Rose Estes novels... _________________ Michael Erin Sandar Bard of Midwood

For a brief take on Wegwuir magic, you might want to look at my article
on them in the Voices of the Dead series.

awesome! it's very heartening to see the response and interest in the mighty wegwiur. i've started pulling all of my notes together and hopefully over the next week or two i can start getting some articles written and submitted in (work permitting that is). _________________ 'Tis far nobler to live and die in service to a dream....'<br />Sir Angustan Willhelm, Knight of the Iron Blade
