Hi all -
Come to Vegas, BABY! for NeonCon 2008! Last year was such a success that they've moved to a larger setting this year, choosing Palace Station over Circus Circus.

This is over Halloween weekend, Thursday Oct. 30 - Sunday, Nov. 2nd.
Right now there are plans for the 6 Pathfinder Society modules (4 currently, with PSS05 & PSS06 opening in October), several Living Greyhawk (I'm unsure if this is Living Greyhawk or if this is Greyhawk Reborn [I'm guessing the latter since I was under the impression LG was "officially" dead]).
I know there are Spycraft, 4e's Living Forgotten Realms, and other games going on. Check out http://www.warhorn.net/Neoncon2008/ for the listing and sign-ups for the current games schedule. We're still 6 weeks away, so games will be going up all the time. I know Jerry the creator of Godsend Agenda will be there. He always is. Check out his game (Super Hero).

Please join us at www.neoncon.com. The price is just $60 for the Four Days of Gaming Goodness (is that GenCon's tag line?) in Las Vegas. (Although, I do believe that if you act today [Sunday Sep. 21] it is still $45 because admin hasn't had a chance to update the server (but no promises as to being able to keep that price for anytime, he said he was going to "fix" it sometime this weekend).

The convention space is a short 30' (a move action) to the buffet line. Anybody over 21 can join the "Boarding Pass" for all Station Casino's, and often the buffet has specials for Boarding Pass holders, reducing the price. If there is anything that I can do to help (make room reservations, find another out-of-towner to share a room with or whatever else) please give me a shout.

Man I may have to put that on my plans for next year. No way I'll be able to before then, but yeah, next year is looking good. BTW, I assume by the act today you meant September 21 Happy

To bad the con couldn't be happening around Christmas time... I'll be in Vegas visting my mother then anyway. Around Halloween is really bad timing for me though.

You know, I think one of the things that I miss the most about Dragon magazine from the pre-WotC era was the little two or three page section that had adds for upcoming conventions in it. Is there anyway we could do that on this site? A little sidebar that listed any and all known gaming conventions coming up?
