Any San Diego games?

I'm hoping to find a second edition Greyhawk game to join in the greater San Diego area. Does anyone happen to be in that area? I used to play AD&D back in the late 80- early 90's but haven't played over the last 14 years or so and now I'm hoping to dust off my old books and try again.

A bit about me: I'm 32, professional white male, and am hoping to join a good group since I no longer know anyone who games.

Wow, I can't believe I posted this thread almost a year ago and it is still on the front page. I guess this site doesn't get much traffic.

The 2E forum doesn't get much traffic unfortunately.

Really? I'd be interested in giving it a try though I haven't touched any AD&D stuff in something like 15 years now. Still, I'm sure it is like riding an old bicycle. PM me and let's talk.

I finally got everything to a point where I'm happy with it. If interested still, take a look at the Meet Up. I'll also hit you up via private message here, Oerdian Smile Sorry it took so long to get back in touch.

I just got your PMs from a year ago. Sorry for the late reply but I hadn't checked this website in over a year so if you're game is still going on write me back.

Yeah, poor the 2e forum doesn't get much love. Cry I am hoping to rectify that occasionally, given my ardent 2e faithfulness.

Oerdin, glad you got some takers for your posting, including some Avatars with whom I PM and keep in touch from faraway Pacific NW area (greetings M-S, Illust8or!). I am tempted to do the same as you, given the limited 2e following in my own region. Sad

Good luck finding some players,

Game is still going!

We've been playing since late August. We meet every other week (barring schedule conflicts) at my house on Sunday afternoons between 1 - 4. I'll PM you with some details Oerdin! Smile

Lanthorn - tell me about it. I have to remind people we aren't playing the newer editions whenever I put my foot down. I'm thinking of putting a 'Well... In Pathfinder" jar on the table similar to a swear jar
