I give this two out of five Greyhawk's. There were certain CGI aspects and scenes that I thought we fantastic! The dragon was...well even the dragon made me go, "Mmmm, yeah, that's a bad*** dragon." But over all I didn't like the movie. I think they watered down Maleficent the character. Have ya'll seen it yet?

I've seen it and thought it was an interesting take on the character. However, I was hoping that it would make her seem even more evil (as she is historically remembered), but instead, they turned her into a misunderstood good guy. Neutral

How very ironic and coincidental that I just saw this movie with my wife the same day you posted this.

Normally I am a stickler and traditionalist when it comes to things like this, but I didn't mind the reconceptualization of Maleficent. I enjoyed the film and would cause my wife to roll her eyes when I'd mention something like, "You know, that's a 6th lvl spell she cast." Laughing

Overall, I liked it. But maybe it was b/c I was out on a date with my wife, without kids in tow, for the first time since Corellon created the elven race. Wink
