Iuz D&D 3.5

Has anyone converted the old 1st Edition "Iuz" to 3.5? I've been reading over the creation process found in Deities & Demigods for making Dieties. I think I could use some imput on his Divine Rank and such. Actually, I'll take any help I can get.

I know, I know... why do I need his stats (he's an unbeatable godling, a fixture of Greyhawk)? Well, my PCs have had enough, and they'd like to put the Old One out to pasture to begin a new campaign. They're pretty tough and, worst of all, organized. It's been coming. Now I want to reward them with a real final confrontation.

Can someone do a master article on the old one? Perhaps ala St. Cuthbert's write-up in Deities & Demigods?

Please, and Thank You!

Look in Dragon #294 pgs. 27-8 for a 3e writeup on the Old One. It also has Rao, Pholtus and Tharizdun.

Yeah but good luck though, God's are so much tougher in 3.0, I don't even think a party of 50th level characters could take him on. Most of his spell like abilities are going to be at level 50 or so as well, so unholy word, etc....is a killer.

In 1e and 2e he was a pushover, a glorified greatfiend with a cr on the level of Grazz't and not much more. In 3e he is a real honest to goodness god.

Here's a very nice 3.5 version on the old Dicefreaks boards:

(if the page doesn't load hit reload a few times..)

Check out the whole thread for a nice discussion of the build and many links on Iuz's history...

I've long thought about tackling the gods but in reality I like to keep them a little more beyond the reach of mortal ken. I do think this work is useful and very important, I just really don't go that far with my PC's b/c theres nothing worse than holding that carrot above their heads, cos you know they will want to get it! =)

However, I do have plenty NPC's on my page here!
