WOG Folio Map Scale

Can anyone tell me the map scale used for the World of Greyhawk folio maps(TSR 9025)? I have read the folio but can't find the scale used for the maps.

Thanks.

Not sure which product your talking about, 1983 boxed set or the folder World of Greyhawk that came before it. I'm expecting it will be 30 miles per hex. The 1983 Glossography list 1 square as 10 leages across (30 miles) towards the bottom of page 3. I'm pretty sure the maps that came out before that are identical.

Although, IIRC, the issue of latitude affects the scale.

This was addressed, again IIRC in an Oerth Journal called "Oerth from the ground up" or somesuch.

Kirt remembers well. Roger E. Moore's "Oerth From the Ground Up" is the last article in Oerth Journal #3, which may be found here:

Yes, the original folio and '83 boxed set of the World of Greyhawk has one hex as 10 leagues (30 miles).

The Living Greyhawk Gazeteer map is actually a different scale, one hex equals 65 miles. I just wanted to add so no one gets the two confused.
