Hi

Does any adventure or setting have a map of Verbobonk?

The map from Dungeon magazine has helmets Tulvar, Hagthar, Rastor, Osnabrolt south of the Iron Forest. From which adventures these helmets are? On the same map in hex near Hommlet is name "Kron" without any dot. What it is? (It's not part of "Kron Hills").

The old adventure Fate of Istus has a town map of Verbobonc and I believe the adventure Vecna Lives! has some good Verbo area stuff as well.

Zeeti and Tapi are Gnomish words for the spire and the common. Why is an electrum piece a tear and not a knight? Dunno. Use whichever moniker you prefer.

If you are interested, i could mail you a homemade map of Verbobonc. It is black and White but i like it much better than the map from Fate og Istus.

That CC map is nice.

Also, I didn't mention it because I presumed someone else would do it earlier. However, when looking for versions of Verbobonc, I strongly suggest reviewing Jeff McKillop's Oerth Journal articles in issues 8 (Verbobonc: The City)and 9 (Verbobonc: The Viscounty). I now forget if the OJ articles include the map, but one did exist. If someone else knows its current URL, please share it!

In the Oerth Journal #9 there are towns Oakham, Penwick, Korbin, Woodstock in the Verbobonc viscounty. Where author took these towns?
From some sources (I did not find them in Vecna Lives, Fate of Istus, ToEE) or just from flight of fancy (it is good reason too).

In the LGG Verbobonc site's information nothing about these towns, they have another towns.

And in OJ #9 map is said (author Phil Rhodes). Where I can see this map?

As reported above, there are a variety of incarnations of the Viscounty. The McKillop version is great, as is the Living Greyhawk version. I am slowly putting together another version (CY579) to further muddy the waters. I'll post it here eventually...

There is no "canon" version, (correct me if I'm wrong), so I suggest take what you like and make up the rest!

Oh yeah, what about your ideas on where Ostverk fits in? I think Ostverk is a palentine duchy that owes marginal feality to the Fey of Celene that works closely with Verbobonc and the Greenway gnomes.

Ostverk was just a town on the border of Celene that got an honourable mention as being involved in the original battle against the temple of elemental evil. There was never much official canon on it.

I agree that there is next to nothing in the Canon about the smear of a village that is Ostverk, however, in T1 and T1-4 it states" Local militia and foresters of the Waldgraf of Ostverk checked, but did not stop, the spread of outlawry and evil." (T1 [green edition] pg.2). It could indicate that Ostverk town is part of a larger feifdom (indicated by the Waldgraf title), that has some influence on the hamlet of Hommlett; or not. Is it part of Verbobonc? Perhaps, but Hommlet is considered on the edge of the influence of the Viscounty. Ostverk is farther south, closer to Celene.

It's unlikely that the Waldgraf of Ostverk would be part of the Viscounty of Verbobonc, since "Waldgraf" is the German language equivalent of "Viscount".
