Ancient Kingdoms in the Flanaess

I'm trying to find all the pre-Oeridian/Suel kingdoms in the Flanaess that have been mentioned so far, Flan or pre-Flan. So far I've got...

Ahlissa (Flan/Ahlissa)
Thalland (Flan/Ahlissa)
Skrellingshald (Flan/Bandit Kingdoms)
"Vecna's Empire" (Flan/Sheldomar?)

Tostenhca (Flan?/Griffs)
Sulm/Itar (Flan?/Bright Desert)

The Isles of Woe (?/Lake of Unknown Depths)
"Cairn Builders" (?)
"Exag Builders" (?)
"Inverness Destroyers" (?)

What else?

Cheers
Nell.

The Bright Desert Kingdom you refer to is probabily the twin civilizations of Sulm and Itar, and, in my opinion, would definately qualify as an ancient Flannish civilization.

Other civilizations you've neglected to mention, which may or may not be Flannish in nature, but, were definately in the Flanaess somewhere:

Whatever Vecna conquered to forge his empire
Tostenhca's builders
The people that tore down the Ghost Tower of Inverness
Exag's builders (see Iquander's contribution on the Mystery of Exag in Canonfire's Articles)
And there are likely dozens of others that I can't recall off the top of my head.

It would take a lot of digging through old modules and sourcebooks to find all the civilizations that were present in the Flanaess, as there are any number of scattered mentions of people and places that predate the Migrations, such as Acererak and the Silent Tower (which, I believe, Gary has predating it's takeover by the Silent Ones, which means it could've been Vecna's...or it could've been someone else's). Unfortunately, we have precious few clues as to who some of these things belonged to.

I'm assuming you're only looking for "canon" ancient kingdoms at this point?

If you're looking for homebrew stuff, I can dump a ton of notes here Happy

Go ahead and dump them, but make notes of race and location, and whether it's a city, country, or unique feature. I'm going to start reading through the LGG with a pad of paper and some post-its.

I'm not much for organization, so I make no guarantees on how far I'll get. Probably just far enough for me, and not far enough for anyone else.

I'll keep revising the list at the top as I or others come up with stuff.

Cheers!
Nell.
