If you have a copy of this old generic D&D adventure, The Silver Key, compare the map on the inside front cover with the map of the County of Ulek on the four part Dungeon map of the Flanaess, particularly the region of the Old Hills.

Looks like a near match to me, recognizing that only the major rivers are depicted on the big map.

This could be something for GH to "steal" or "convert" much like the Isle of Dread.

Anyone ever done anything with the The Silver Key vis a vis Greyhawk?

I'm not wild about the actual adventure in The Silver Key but I think the map is rather evocative.

Thanks for posting the maps. I see similarities when you factor in the map scale. Isn't the Silver Key map 8 miles to an inch with the other around 20 or 24 miles to a hex?

Glenn never replied to this, but I think his intention was that the Seneshan River corresponds to the Kewl River, the Bannoch River corresponds to the Old River, and of course the mountains to the east correspond to the Lortmils. The basic idea of a branching river west of a mountain range corresponds pretty well, ignoring the respective scales, and someone could add the additional towns, forests, and lakes from The Silver Key to Ulek without much trouble.
